“And perform properly (i.e., all the ceremonies according to the ways of Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him), the Hajj and Umrah (i.e., the pilgrimage to Makkah) for Allah.” (2:196)

Hajj is a pilgrimage to Makkah. It is Fard (an obligation) upon every accountable able-bodied Muslims of financial means, to complete at least once in their lifetime.

Umrah
